Our pupils are able to experience all aspects of the arts during their time with us – and many choose to cultivate a deeper interest in music, art or drama.
Over a quarter of our pupils play at least one musical instrument and many study two. Our purpose-built Music School allows us to offer a wide range of instruments for tuition including violin, trumpet, piano, guitar and drums. The enthusiasm of our pupils for music shines through in the sheer range of ensembles and bands that have been formed within the school, as well as the ever-popular school choir, which has toured notable locations including Venice and Verona.
We offer art all the way through to IB and A Level, and many of our pupils gain excellent examination grades and acceptance into major Art schools including St Martin’s, Chelsea’s and Surrey University of the Creative Arts.
Speech and Drama lessons are available for all interested pupils and are taught on a one to one basis by Mrs Caroline Lowe. There are two exam sessions a year and pupils regularly achieve excellent results.
There are two school stage productions each year, all requiring actors, technical crew and musicians to make them a success.
We also hold an annual Arts festival, which gives musically minded students a chance to perform, alongside art exhibitions and drama workshops.
